1. Activation
- Your handset needs to be unlocked to receive all SIMs.
- Detach the Mobilsi from the enclosed card and replace the current SIM in your handset.
- Please turn on your handset and ensure you have network coverage.
- Some handsets request a PIN when finding new SIM card. The PIN is 0000.
- The Mobilsi GSM card gives you access to mobile networks in the country where you are and with which we have a roaming agreement.
Please wait 20-40 seconds after the network name is displayed on your telephone before starting to make calls.
- In the starter pack, find the activation code which represents the value of initial credit. For activation, please dial the code and press send/call, wait a few seconds and you will receive a confirmation by SMS.
- Your Sim card is already active and is ready to make/receive calls from and to any destination until the expiry date after 6 month. The card should be recharged before the expiry date with a new credit which offers a new validity period, otherwise you will lose the services offered by the Sim card and you have to buy another one.
2. Making a call
- Dial country code & number and press the Call/Send button.
- For example 0040215699999 'Call' or +40215699999 'Call'.
- There will be a short pause without any sound or line tone.
- Your phone may (depending on handset model) display an on screen message "Thank you for using the service. Your call will be connected shortly".
- After a few seconds, your handset will ring. When you answer you will hear a voice message saying, "Please wait while we connect your call".
- You will then hear the normal ring tone and you will be connected to your dialed number. When finished - please end the call and hang up as you would normally do.
* Some handsets may be incompatible with direct dialing.
Should you hear the following message: "Connection to this number is restricted on this phone", or experience continuous failed outgoing calls, you will need to dial in the following way:
*126*102*the number you want to call# and then press the Call/Send button Example: *126*102*0040215699999#
Attention: Irrespective of where you call from and the number you dial, you should dial the country code + telephone number, even if you make a call to a number from the country where you are.
3. Receiving a call
- Answer your ringing handset exactly as you normally do upon receiving a call. Your phone number can be found in your starter pack; it is from England and starts with 0044.
4. Adding a local number:
You can add a local number from diferent countries to the Mobilsi card by contacting customer care. There is also a monthly fee for the local number added, 6 monthly fees will be deduced at the moment of activation of this option.
The local number may be deactivated at any time, the prepaid period is not returned. The reactivation of this number implies a new activation fee. Thus, you have a UK number and a local number on the same card MobiLsi.
